Fattoria Casato is a highly esteemed Brunello di Montalcino wine producing farm estate in Trequanda, right outside of Montalcino offering rental apartments in Tuscany. The enchanting medieval farmhouse has more than 23 hectares of vineyards, cereals, white truffles, olive groves, and a country inn with 19 apartments, a restaurant and 3 pools.

This winery, famous for its bold and powerful wines, offers wine tasting and private cellar tours for its guests to allow you step back in time and view the age old process which made this region so famous. The winery tour begins with a medieval hermitage, it crosses the underground of the sixteenth century villa and then rises up until the loft where the Vin Santo is made. The vinification area has up to the minute apparatus and a spectacular panorama of the Crete Senesi.

The estate has 19 farm holidays apartments ranging in size from 1 - 14 bedrooms. The farmhouse accommodations have been created in the main Villa and in the old farmhouses, their decoration reflecting the simplicity and culture of the area with its antique furniture, comfortable rather then luxurious. Each apartment is made up of one or more bedrooms, sitting room with a cooking area and at least one bathroom with shower. Independent central heating.

Villa Cenerentola

Cenerentola, “Cinderella” is the name given to an old farmhouse on a hill surrounded by vineyards and overlooking the Crete senesi and the Val d’Orcia. The stone building has maintained its original character with a small inside courtyard, a staircase which leads to the 1st floor, and a large fireplace where the farmers used to cook; even part of the flooring and the beams in the ceiling are the original old ones. Recently the building has been renovated and transformed into a one family villa where people coming to Tuscany, can spend a few days in the silence of the most famous countryside in the world. The apartment is on the 1st floor and consists of a lounge with cooking area, a sitting room, 5 bedrooms and three bathrooms (three showers and a bath tub). The furniture is mainly antique while the divans, bathrooms, kitchen and central heating are modern. sleeps 10

Outside there are tables and chairs and sun loungers, for eating out and sunbathing. There is also an outdoor Jacuzzi for 6 people with 24 water jets, which permits guests to bathe outdoors all year round in front of an immense panorama of the Sienese hills.

Guests have the use of three swimming pools, a tennis court, a table tennis, and six mountain bikes, two equipped gardens. There are three walking routes starting from the farm and reaching Trequanda. There is also a TV room, wine boutique to stock up on wine and food items and a restaurant to make your stay easy and comfortable.
