This property has been tastefully restored by its owners with modern and sleek decor and is located in a peaceful position while still being a close walking distance to Monteggiori where you can find a great restaurant and fresh fruits and vegetables sold daily.

The fortress as well as the village of Monteggiori can be reached only by means of pedestrian lanes (a private parking available for the guests staying at the villa is 100 m away). In order to carry luggage from the car park to the house, guests can use a small tracked vehicle.

Indoors

The castle offers two apartments that are connected by a garden. The main apartment offers one double bedroom with an en suite full bathroom with a bath and shower, a living room with a fireplace, satellite TV and internet access for laptops, dining room and modern kitchen with every possible amenity needed. There is a also a furnished sun deck with amazing views to enjoy the scenery from. This apartment also includes a telephone and laundry room.

The other apartment includes a living room with a kitchen corner, double bedroom and bathroom with shower and bath. The living room offers a double sofa bed for additional sleeping spots.

Outdoors

Outside of the villa you are offered a furnished sun deck, private swimming pool and gardens with fresh vegetable and fruit patches for your enjoyment. Around the castle are olive groves and an antique castle wall dating back to the 12 century.

Location

A short walking distance to the village of Monteggiori where you can find a great restaurant and a few shops to stock up on supplies. Capezzano with all kinds of shops 2 km, Camaiore and Pietrasanta 5 km, Lucca approx. 20 km. The Versilia coastline is only 5 km away.

The coastline of Versilia is long stretches of sand beaches between the Magra and Serchio rivers lined with shade pine groves and blue sea. You can also explore the Apual Alps, famous for their rugged marble and medieval hamlets, castles and fortified fortresses, the remains of the Roman city Luni and the beautiful Lake Massaciuccoli.

Known as a high society holiday location, Versilia offers nightclubs, dancing, restaurants and luxurious shopping. Water sports such as water skiing, windsurfing and surfing are popular as well as bike riding and horseback riding.
